Fall For Dance Festival presents a US premiere of Crust by Israeli choreographer Lior Tavori. Supported by MART

Summer and winter, seasons and holidays. Not everyone will be taken to the future.

Crust is a work about Israel and the world, twenty-twenty-four.

Meeting — glance — disconnection.

Penetrating eyes.

Red, dense smoke obscures the vision.

Forbidden pleasure appears.

Intrusion into territory with unclear boundaries.

Crust explores the boundaries between the personal and the political, between strength and vulnerability. A work that had to address movement not only as an artistic tool, but also as a means of processing—as therapy.

The work is a co-production of the Suzanne Dellal Centre and MART Foundation, and premiered as the closing work of Tel Aviv Dance Festival 2024.
